KEY POINTS:
A Coromandel man charged with committing two robberies in Christchurch was further remanded in custody when he appeared in Christchurch District Court today.
Michael James Cassidy, 24, unemployed, pleaded not guilty today to robbing the Sydenham KiwiBank branch on August 28 and the Victoria Street Post Shop on September 3.
He also faces a charge of stealing almost $4600 in cash from the Coromandel Cafe on August 19.
Counsel Serina Bailey told Judge David Saunders Cassidy would deny all charges.
Cassidy was remanded in custody to a pre-depositions conference on October 11.
