Coptic Christians are hoping the Egyptian government will take notice of their march in Auckland today.
Around 200 people walked down Auckland's Queen Street this afternoon to protest about the death of 23 Coptic Christians in a bombing in Alexandria on New Year's Day.
Teresa Mekhaiel says they pray the message gets to the leaders of countries that can make a difference.
She hopes it will lead the Egyptian government to take steps to allow justice and equality for all people in Egypt.
