Gold Coast police have approached Tinder for full access to Gable Tostee's account with the online dating service.
The Surfers Paradise-based playboy is on bail awaiting trial in early 2016 for the alleged murder of New Zealand holidaymaker Warriena Wright.
The 26-year-old Kiwi tourist - who was on the Gold Coast for a wedding - died in August after plunging from the balcony of Tostee's 14th floor apartment.
Tostee, 28, was bailed this month and is staying with his parents after they paid $220,000 surety to ensure their son abided by his release conditions. One of those was to stay off the Tinder dating app.
It was yesterday revealed that authorities have called on US administrators of Tinder to help them find more than 50 women who had contact with Tostee.
