A Manawatu masseur found guilty of inappropriately touching a client has lodged an appeal with the Supreme Court.
Brendon Clive Dorn, 34, was sentenced in May to nine months' prison after a jury found him guilty of two counts of indecently assaulting a woman in January 2008.
The jury heard he touched the woman's breasts and briefly slipped his fingers into her underwear while giving her a massage at the Palmerston North massage business he runs with his wife.
He was acquitted on two other counts of indecent assault, relating to two other complainants.
In August, Dorn appealed the verdict on the grounds they were unreasonable and inconsistent.
The Court of Appeal quashed one count of indecent assault and reduced his sentence to four months' home detention.
He was also ordered not to work as a massage therapist.
His second appeal was lodged less than a month later, on November 5, The Manawatu Standard reported.
The Supreme Court will decide the case next year.
