Conservative Party board member John Stringer has resigned.
His resignation has been received by the Party Secretary, Nathaniel Heslop, who said Mr Stringer had made the decision after "careful consideration."
"He remains a supporter of the Conservative Party, it's principles and policies and wishes it every success in the future
"The Conservative Party will be conducting board elections later this year and is looking forward to establishing a team that will continue to represent the values New Zealand has lived and breathed for generations," said Mr Stringer.
"In the meantime a provisional board has been established to work alongside the Party Secretary to ensure due process is administered until the Board elect is established."
