A Hastings mother who discovered a hidden camera filming her on the toilet told a court she met the accused man in her professional capacity as a photographer specialising in nudes.
The woman was giving evidence in Hastings District Court, where the man denied a charge of illegally making an intimate recording.
He said the woman had consented.
The man, also from Hastings, contacted the woman last April and they began meeting for picture and film sessions, in which she photographed him nude and was paid for the services.
The hearing was adjourned until today, with the names of accused and complainant suppressed.
