The Herald recently ran a competition to have four Warriors players at their school for a skills and drills session. We received a lot of entries; Rowandale Primary was drawn as our lucky winner!
On Monday 1st September, 2014, Sam Tomkins, Dominique Peyroux, Carlos Tuimavave and Raymond Faitala-Marine showed thirty students how to play just like the pros!
Our select Vodafone Warriors took them through everything from passing, defense, kicks and evasion.
The Principal of Rowandale Primary, Karl Vasau, nominated the school and had this to say from the experience:
Yesterday was awesome!!!! Thank you to the NZ Herald and the NZ Warriors for the amazing experience for our kids...things like this go a long way to exposing our children to life long learning experiences so THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!
