Hockey
Underdogs they may be but Marquis Dalefield have a chance of upsetting Hutt in their Wellington premier division men's hockey match at the National Hockey Stadium in Wellington tomorrow.
The form book says this should be all one-way traffic with Hutt sitting second on the table with 24 points and Dalefield sixth and last with four points, but that may not tell the whole story.
Their first-round clash saw Dalefield give every bit as good as they received before losing by one goal, 6-5, and the confidence gained by Dalefield in beating Harbour City 3-2 in their most recent fixture should work in their favour as well.
The most pleasing feature of that victory for Dalefield was the resolve they showed when, after taking a 2-0 lead, they had to find something extra when Harbour City levelled.
