Police are growing increasingly concerned for the safety and well-being of an 18-year-old Chinese woman who was reported missing in central Auckland last Saturday, three days after she was last seen.
Jiayi Li, also known as "Kiko", was last seen at 2am on May 12 on New North Rd in Kingsland, when she dropped off a friend in her red 1998 Toyota Altezza saloon, registration number EDB121.
Li, who lived in Morningside Drive, Sandringham, and her vehicle have not been seen by her friends since.
Police received several calls over the weekend, but there have been no positive sightings.
"We've had calls about vehicles matching the description, but with the wrong registration number," Inspector Ian Brooker told NZPA.
He added that police have not received any calls about sightings of Li.
She was described as approximately 160cm tall, of slim to medium build with medium length, dark brown hair.
She has a skull and crossbones tattoo in blue ink on the back of her left forearm.
Li was last seen wearing black tights, a dark jacket with a dark skirt or dress under it, a dark blouse or shirt patterned with white circles or shapes.
