Auckland police are worried about the safety of a 70-year-old woman missing from the central Auckland suburb of Pt Chevalier since yesterday afternoon.
Elspeth Williamson is described as a female European of medium build and short in height.
Police say she was last seen wearing a mini skirt, woollen jumper and black jacket and carrying a striped backpack and large white handbag.
She suffers from a number of physical and mental afflictions and may have been in the St Lukes shopping centre late last night.
