KEY POINTS:
Police are appealing for sightings of a Wellington busker who has been missing for two weeks.
Tawhai Robert Reihana, 37, left his Hankey Street home on Sunday, February 24 to go with his wife to the Victoria Street market.
The couple separated in the crowd and Mrs Reihana went home alone. She became concerned when her husband failed to return.
Detective Constable Mike Stone, of Wellington CIB, said Mr Reihana did not have the financial means to support himself, did not have a cellphone, and when last seen was carrying his guitar in a black guitar case.
He regularly busks for money in the central city but has not been seen in recent days.
His family initially thought he might be taking "time out" but was now increasingly concerned that he had not been in touch.
Mr Reihana has brown eyes, short black hair, is 177cm tall, of medium build and clean-shaven. When last seen he was wearing a dark wool jersey, grey trousers, sneakers, and his wedding ring.
Anyone with information about him is asked to call police.
