Concern for missing woman driver

Police say they are concerned for the safety of a woman missing on a car trip between Christchurch and the West Coast.

The woman left Christchurch in a blue Toyota Corolla, registration number CYH390, at approximately 7.30am yesterday bound for Greymouth and has not been seen since.

She was travelling alone and there were growing concerns for her whereabouts, police spokesman Trevor Cross said today.
