Concern for missing Wellington teen

Concerns are growing for a Wellington teenager who has been missing for nearly two weeks.

Jessica Ross, 15, was reported missing from Strathmore, Wellington, on September 10. She is described as a European, with shoulder-length hair, and of slight build.

Porirua Youth Aid Officer Constable Paul Randall said Jessica is originally from Titahi Bay and police believe she may be in the greater Porirua area.

"Anyone who knows the whereabouts of Jessica is urged to contact Police as soon as possible. Jessica has gone missing for a long period before but we just want to make sure she is safe and well."

Mr Randall said police have been making enquiries with Jessica's friends and family and will continue to do so to ensure she is located safely.
