A Christchurch woman who travelled to Auckland just before New Year is missing and police say there are concerns for her safety.
Sharon Helen Cross, 57, was last seen in Auckland city at 1.30am December 30. She was reported missing the next day.
Police say there is a possibility Ms Cross has travelled to Dunedin, and could be using her maiden name Kara.
She is described as a European, approximately 5'174cm tall.
"She is of skinny build with long black hair which she usually wears down. Police have been advised that she may have cut her hair," a spokesperson said.
