Auckland police are concerned for an elderly woman with Alzheimer's missing from her Mount Albert home.
Sonia Carden, 76, was reported missing from her home about 6.30pm yesterday, several hours after she disappeared.
Police said she was 1.65 metres tall with olive skin and was wearing a black cardigan and grey pants.
She was also wearing three gold chains around her neck, one with a cross on it and another with a brown crystal.
Search and rescue teams would be deployed this morning after unsuccessful searches by police last night.
