Growing concern over the continuing disruptions to Christchurch secondary students.
The New Zealand Qualifications Authority is expecting an influx of requests from Christchurch high schools for the Derived Grading component for all levels of NCEA.
Spokesman Bali Haque says there will also be another category for Christchurch - credit inclusion.
He says if a school leaver is a few credits short of level three or University Entrance they work with the schools to get the student over the bar.
Mr Haque says the authority is well aware of the challenges pupils face.
