Compaq & HP laptop recall

Compaq and HP have issued a recall of laptop computers, saying a battery fault could cause them to catch fire.

The laptops, sold between March last year and last May, have a defect that may cause a fire risk from overheating, smoke, melting or charring of the laptops.

People can check if their model is one of those affected by visiting the HP support link below for a list of model numbers.
