Lexus New Zealand has confirmed the arrival of a new SUV to complement its ranks.
The NX compact SUV will be available in hybrid and turbo petrol variants and is due here late this year. In development since 2009, the NX is designed for agility, stability and ride comfort.
First to arrive will be the NX 300h, with a 2.5-litre four-cylinder petrol electric hybrid drivetrain.
The turbo derivative NX 200t will arrive soon after, powered by a turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine partnered to a six-speed automatic transmission with Lexus' first stop-start system.
Both variants will be available in a choice of two or all-wheel drive.
