Community funding for schools

The Ministry of Education has released a revised list of the money schools raised from communities. The list published in the Weekend Herald last week showed 156 schools the ministry said raised more than $1 million.

The new list, with figures revised down, shows 124 schools raised more than $1 million. The ministry's original figures wrongly contained revenue and expenditure from the use of land and buildings.

The following list is only of money raised from parental donations, fundraising, international students and other locally raised funds.
