A man who climbed to the top of a popular Auckland tourist attraction has been safely brought back down.
Police and emergency services were called to the intersection of Victoria and Albert streets tonight after a man climbed a tower structure supporting the Sky Screamer vertical bungy.
The man had been refusing to come back down, police said.
Cordons were put in place around the business, and motorists and pedestrians were warned to avoid the area.
Police negotiators and firefighters were called to the scene.
