HAIR AND NOW
Jaw-length bobs and lobs (aka long bobs), as embraced by every second celebrity at the close of last year, will carry over strongly into 2015. Once we get over our air-dried beach hair and with autumn looming, expect more New Zealand women to opt for the chop.
Those keeping their length will increasingly embrace natural texture but, as with shorter crops, the judicious help of a little product never goes astray. Think subtle volume at the roots and frizz smoothing at the ends.
Hairstylists are talking up "cocktailing", which doesn't mean they're boozing between blowdries, but rather mixing products for maximum effect so you can be the belle of the bar.
Loose low buns and plaits at the back, will keep long hair swept neatly up, or opt to let it swing with extended blunt bangs.
