Comedian and television personality Mike King appeared in court yesterday charged with driving a Harley-Davidson motorbike while suspended.
The 49-year-old made a brief appearance in front of a community magistrate at Auckland District Court.
Police allege he was driving a Fat Bob Harley-Davidson on June 21 while suspended.
King, who has pleaded not guilty, did not return calls last night. His agent, David Steele, said the incident "didn't involve alcohol ... It's certainly nothing to do with drink driving.
And it's nothing to do with road rage either."
