Comedian and recidivist drink-driver comedian Jon Gadsby will today learn his fate when he appears in the Christchurch District Court for sentencing after his third drink-driving conviction, which could put him in jail.
Gadsby, 57, was caught with a breath alcohol reading of 1049mcg, 2 times over the limit, when stopped by police near his house in Merivale in June. He pleaded guilty to driving with excess breath-alcohol when he appeared in the district court in September.
