When it comes to creating a unique and special space in your home, Resene colour expert Nikki Morris says it's time to embrace colour, texture and pattern. And it doesn't have to be crazy brights, as this image show.
"Wallpaper will be big," Morris predicts, "and will play a major role in helping create a personal statement.
"We will continue to mix looks and trends and bring them together in different ways, such as industrial meets vintage. Think masculine with feminine touches, scratched-back concrete complementing whitewashed timber."
The perfect home, she believes, should be filled with colour and laughter.
