Embattled Glenfield College principal Mel Cooper fronted up to a Glenfield Community Board meeting yesterday, but what he said will likely never be made public.
The meeting went in-camera for Mr Cooper's talk, after chairman Gerald Sharrock said Education Review Office rules prevented Mr Cooper from talking to the media.
The public - members of a journalism class and a Herald reporter - was then told to leave the meeting.
The college hit the headlines this year when trustees were sacked and a commissioner appointed after a highly critically ERO review of the school.
