Saturday saw the ladies playing the final of their Ross Burling Trophy and the men the semi-finals of the Golden Matchplay and Match Committee Trophies, with all of the men's matches being close affairs.
The final of the Ross Burling Trophy had Anita Karaitiana playing Michelle Coley.
The results of this match saw Michelle Coley end up with a relatively comfortable win.
In the Dove Trophy, the first semi-final had two "lefties" battling it out. Laurence Butler and Chic Reiri were all square playing the eighteenth hole, with the match going to Laurence Butler.
In the other match, another lefty in Chris Paine was up against Kevin May. The former had the early advantage but after the sixteenth hole Kevin May was two up, but it was back to a one hole lead going to the last hole.
Both players were in similar positions for three on the last hole, but from there both players tried to give the advantage to the other, with the hole eventually being halved.
In the Match Committee Trophy, Robin Britt was trailing Phillip Granich by four holes after the first nine, but got back into the match, with the players square starting the last.
But a few miss cues and an error on the green which saw Robin Britt putting to the wrong hole left Phillip Granich with a number of putts for the win.
Phillip must have wanted to really rub it in, as he took more than the regulation two putts to win the hole by one stroke.
The other match was between Kevin Gibbs and Bruce Herangi.
Both players had turns in the lead, but there was never very much between them, and it was no real surprise to see the match decided on the eighteenth green, with Kevin Gibbs the victor.
