The kiwi barbecue will be a little different this summer for one Trade Me bidder after a coffin-shaped barbeque was listed on the auction site.
The listing, from Morrinsville Trade Me account "evilginga", had attracted over 12,000 views and a number of bids.
The description promised that the winning bidder would be the life of the party.
"Have hired it out to pubs people love it and are more forgiveing if the meats burnt! All funds raised are going into the next one happy bidding!"
It will not be the end of casket cooking for the vendor, as he was currently building another barbeque using an American casket, the description stated.
