Aaron Gilmore is being accused of damaging the reputation of list MPs.
The National Party backbencher's made a name for himself after his behaviour towards a waiter who refused him more wine at a Hanmer Springs restaurant.
John Key has already suggested Mr Gilmore resign, and the matter has been referred to the party's president.
Former ACT list MP Deborah Coddington says his actions are bringing all Members of Parliament into disrepute.
"And in particular he's bringing down the name of list MPs because it just shows up how difficult it is to get rid of them. They can hang around like a bad smell."
