Save Cocaine with an estimated street value of $2.5 million has been seized at the Port of Napier.
Customs officers found 5kg of the Class A drug in a container refrigeration unit, on the ship Cap Manuel.
The cocaine was tightly packed into a bag, and is believed to have been
found when the container motor, which had broken down, was being serviced.
The ship arrived from Lyttelton and was headed to Japan and China.
