Coast to coast for actress

It's going to be a case of sunrise, sunset for actress Angela Dotchin, as she visits Auckland landmarks as part of her millennium celebrations.

Dotchin and partner Temuera Morrison will begin the evening watching the sun set at one of Auckland's west coast beaches.

Then the pair are heading into the city to join friends at the Viaduct Harbour for a party. "We'll see where the night takes us," Dotchin said.

Watching the fireworks display off the harbour bridge is also on the night's agenda.

Dotchin hopes to round off the celebrations by seeing the New Year dawn break.
