It's semi-final time in division one of the Wairarapa women's inter-club hockey competition at Clareville tomorrow.
The first of the semis will see second seeded Featherston taking on third seeded Dalefield Gold.
Featherston have benefitted immensely from the leadership of centre half Tracey Donald while Dalefield Gold have done likewise from the acquisition of former Dalefield premier players in Janeen Bruce and Nicola Harwood.
A close game is predicted with Dalefield Gold perhaps just doing enough to push through to what would be their first final in many years
The second semi-final will see top seeds Red Star take on fourth seeds Wairarapa College second XI.
Red Star have dominated the division one series this year and while Wairarapa College are a promising unit anything other than a comfortable Stars win would be a surprise.
The Featherston v Dalefield Gold match hits off at 2.30pm and the Red Star v Wairarapa College match at 3.45pm.
Close hockey semi-finals predicted
