Clear may axe 70 more jobs

About 70 jobs at TelstraClear's Auckland call centre are under threat as the company looks into outsourcing to the Philippines.

Two months ago, the telco revealed it was outsourcing 48 roles from its residential faults centre in Kapiti to the Philippines.

A company spokesman said yesterday that it would review about 70 jobs in the residential faults and technical support call centre in Takapuna.
