Auckland's western railway will close on Sunday to allow volunteers a final chance for a tidy-up before the Rugby World Cup.
Although a full closure of the region's network last weekend was to have been the last before the tournament, KiwiRail spokeswoman Jenni Austin said community groups had requested one more chance to clean stations and remove graffiti.
Buses will replace trains between Henderson and Britomart.
