A smelly problem has closed down Auckland's Civic Theatre.
A spokeswoman at Auckland Council says there's a "plumbing incident" backstage, caused by a blockage at street level.
Hayden Donnell tweeted further details, saying the theatre was "gumboot deep in s***".
The council spokeswoman said the mess was being cleaned up but the theatre will be closed for 24 hours.
The closure means tonight's show, The Last Waltz, will be moved to the ASB Theatre at Aotea Centre.
All ticket holders have been emailed and a host will also be re-directing people from the Civic Theatre entrance.
