KEY POINTS:
The newly born little brother to the stylish Citroen C4 Picasso might gain New Zealand residency.
Availability of the C3 Picasso to New Zealand has yet to be confirmed, but the car's suitability for this market is being considered, says Auckland-based importer Citroen New Zealand.
The mini MPV shares the C4 Picasso's features including that distinctive wraparound windscreen and curved A pillars, but has two fewer chairs and one row less.
There are many practical features, including split-folding, independently sliding rear seats, a mobile boot floor and a flat-folding front passenger seat that transforms into a table.
At 1.63m tall and 1.73m wide, the model should be up to providing reasonable cabin space. A panoramic glass sunroof increases the airy feel. For passenger comfort, the seating position is high, and leg room is maximised - in the back, the bench adjusts by more than 150mm.
Engine choices include the 80kW/240Nm turbodiesel available in NZ market 207s.
