Police have arrested four people who allegedly stole nearly $40,000 worth of cigarettes and clothing during a series of service station break-ins across Auckland and Tauranga.
The four are jointly charged with the burglaries of three Caltex stations, an Auckland Kathmandu store and two burglaries at a Tauranga BP station in June and July this year.
Two men aged 28, another aged 27, and a 23-year-old woman appeared in court
after detectives swooped on several Auckland properties this week.
