Church: They're mad not to pick my Gavin

Singer Charlotte Church has hit out at Lions rugby coach Sir Clive Woodward for leaving out boyfriend Gavin Henson from last night's test against the All Blacks.

Church, 20, who was involved in a stormy bust-up on Thursday with former boyfriend Kyle Johnson, told an English tabloid that Henson should have got the nod over Jonny Wilkinson. "Clive's slightly delu-sional," she said.

"Gavin's better than most of the people he's picked.

"I've watched every game and I know my stuff. Gavin's been much more consistent than most of the other players."

Last week, after his two-try starring role in the Lions' 26-16 win over Southland, Henson admitted he was running out of hope to be considered for any of the tests. "Unless there's a loss or an injury I'm not sure if I'll be able to get back in," he said.
