A South Island school is upset that a church has seized on its teachings as promoting homosexuality to students.
A poster used by Queenstown's Wakatipu High School to teach tolerance of different sexual preferences features in a newspaper advertisement by the Hawthorndale Community Church urging people to "vote wisely" and calling the Labour Government "morally bankrupt".
The poster shows three young men wearing T-shirts that read: "I like guys", "I like both" and "I like girls".
