The family of the woman behind the Len Brown sex scandal is asking to be left alone.
Bonnie Chuang says reporters and photographers have hounded the family at their Manukau Rd home since the story broke about her sister Bevan Chuang's affair with Mayor Len Brown.
"We have been living virtually like prisoners with the curtains drawn all day, and just cannot carry on like this anymore," she said.
"People keep knocking on our doors and windows, and we are really concerned for our safety."
She said Ms Chuang had not returned home since the affair was made public on Tuesday, but that had not stopped journalists from banging on their door.
