The former mistress of Auckland Mayor Len Brown wants failed mayoral candidate John Palino to front up about an alleged plan to bring down the mayor.
Bevan Chuang, who accompanied the Herald to Mr Palino's Kohimarama home yesterday, also dismissed Luigi Wewege's "clarification" that he was not in a relationship with her.
Mr Wewege, who worked for Mr Palino, sent an email to media denying he had a relationship with Ms Chuang or knowing the extent of her allegations against Mr Brown until after the story broke on a blog run by Cameron Slater.
Mr Palino has also gone to ground, but has denied any knowledge of the affair or of using it in a political campaign against Mr Brown.
He admitted meeting Ms Chuang at a Mission Bay carpark the day after the election results were announced, but claimed they only discussed threatening text messages both received during the campaign.
