A Christchurch woman accused of murdering an Indian man on Christmas Day can be named for the first time today.
Franchesca Kororia Borell, 22, denies stabbing 26-year-old Hardeep Singh at a Cashmere Rd property in Christchurch on December 25 last year.
She was granted interim name suppression when she first appeared in court.
When she appeared from custody at the High Court in Christchurch this morning, defence counsel Colin Eason no longer sought name suppression after looking at Borell's medical records and reports.
Borell also entered a not guilty plea to the charge of murder.
