Christine Rankin became the first casualty of the second series of Dancing with the Stars last night.
The former Work and Income NZ chief and dancing partner David Yeates had the lowest score after the series' second round, for which contestants had to perform the rumba and the quickstep.
Judges' scores make up 50 per cent of the score, with viewer votes making up the rest.
