It's just been announced Christchurch's Redcliffs School won't be reopened on its current site.
The school's been closed because of falling rock risk since the 2011 earthquakes, but there'd been a strong push from the community to have the school reopened.
However, Education Minister Hekia Parata has decided the school will be relocated to an alternative site instead.
She says after considering all the analysis, moving the school away from the current site under the cliffs is the best option for the school's future.
It's to be relocated to the nearby Redcliffs Park.
