A Christchurch woman will stand trial next April for the murder of Cory James Protos in the city earlier this year.
Zariah Jay Samson, 22, denies murdering 30-year-old Mr Protos - who is originally from Ashburton - on April 27 this year.
Police believe he was killed at an inner city Conference Street property before his body was moved to a Bryndwr house where it was found.
At the High Court in Christchurch today Justice David Gendall set down a two-week trial to begin on April 13 next year.
A pre-trial hearing was arranged for November 13.
