Sixty-three properties on Christchurch's Port Hills have been red-stickered this week as a result of Monday's aftershocks.
The hill areas worst-affected are around Sumner, including Scarborough and Whitewash Head.
The Christchurch City Council says early assessments indicate that remediation work carried out since the February quake was successful in reducing the risk to homes.
