A Christchurch man appears to be the victim of mistaken identity in a gang-related robbery.
New Brighton police say he was stripped of his motorcycle jacket by two men yesterday afternoon. It is believed the suspects are gang members who thought their victim was a rival.
The offenders were seen leaving the scene in a white four-door Japanese saloon and police are asking for the public to come forward if they have any information about the case.
