Forensic experts are recording data and samples from a home in Aotea Tce, in the Christchurch suburb of Huntsbury, where a relative and a friend discovered the body of a woman yesterday.
Acting Detective Inspector David Long said homicide police were "particularly interested" in unreported thefts, burglaries or suspicious activities over recent weeks in the Huntsbury Hill area.
