KEY POINTS:
Heavy fog blanketing Christchurch International Airport has forced delays to a number of flights this morning and disrupted travel for hundreds of passengers.
Some incoming and departing domestic flights have been cancelled and others delayed or diverted to other airports, with one international flight diverted to Wellington.
Christchurch shivered in a 7degC frost this morning as the fog rolled in, but it was expected to clear by mid-morning.
