Christchurch fire treated as suspicious

Save A fire at an abandoned house in east Christchurch early this morning is being treated as suspicious.
A Fire Service spokeswoman said they were called to the house on Buckleys Rd, Linwood, shortly before 1pm.
Fire fighters donned breathing gear as they searched the building in case anyone was trapped
inside but it was abandoned.
Police had been advised and a fire safety officer was investigating.
