A couple accused of raiding a neighbour's damaged house to get the hot water cylinder are to spend time in custody on remand.
Judge Colin Doherty refused bail for the woman, Larrayne McSaveney-Blissett, 43, at a district court hearing inside Christchurch Men's Prison yesterday.
After that, her husband, Peter John Blissett, 42, decided not to go ahead with his own bail application. They are charged with burglary.
